"Give me something fun to do, like a life of loving you." Thank you for your water ramble, and for the wondrous song. And I'm sorry to hear about the local FB group incident. How did we lose the ability, so quickly, to engage in conversations with one another, without resorting to personal attacks? It's saddening, but also motivates to keep striding forwards. I'm no fool - I'm not "striding while wearing no armour" - but I'm trying to wear a different kind of armour. One that's been forged in kindness.
I have also bumped up against the solid wall of closed minds on FB. I was offering an idea in response to a comment on a page where I and they are well known comrades, in thoughtful, kind love. What I got back were snide remarks and being told I was simply uninformed, called a name - etc. Perhaps people in our 2 nations can best support each other by withdrawing when we need to, but continuing to write to promote classical critical thinking offered without undo anger or hate. Prayers for us all.
Thank you dear Susan for your continued inspiration. I am indeed writing, albeit sparsely - better that than nothing I know. I found a small writing group via zoom, a dear friend is there, I feel secure. You are a welcomed support and I will reach out again one day for a writing moment with Amherst. Many blessings, Aggie damron
